Is working with It Takes Hearts a good fit for you?

At It Takes Hearts, we are looking for dependable, compassionate team members who understand that small acts of care can make a big difference in someone’s daily life. Our clients may need help with personal care, household routines, companionship, errands, reminders, or simply the reassurance of having someone kind and trustworthy nearby. We are seeking individuals who are patient, respectful, reliable, and willing to support clients with dignity while helping families feel confident their loved one is safe and cared for.

We value team members who communicate well, follow care plans, respect privacy, arrive on time, and treat every client like a person, not a task list. Experience is helpful, but heart, dependability, and good judgment matter just as much.

Job Environment & Visit Requirements

Our team provides services in private homes. Each home environment is different. Team members may enter homes where dogs, cats, other household pets, smoke odor, fragrances, dust, clutter, uneven walkways, or other normal household conditions may be present.

Team members must be able to follow care plans, communicate concerns, maintain client privacy, use good judgment, and complete visits safely and professionally. Team members are also expected to report to client visits free from smoke odor, strong fragrance, or other odors that could affect elderly or medically fragile clients.

Employees are not expected to enter or remain in a home if an animal or situation appears unsafe. If there is a safety concern, the employee should contact the office for guidance before entering or continuing the visit.

Applicants should be able to meet these job environment requirements and perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
